Water Matters make visible my experience of the waters of four North Carolina Rivers and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The works trace the movement of each body of water and document my findings at specific sites. Working outdoors allows me to physically and sensually experience the topography, climate, time and space of each place. The relationship between beauty and danger, the ephemeral and durable is always present
